Overview

UTS is Twente’s scholarship for excellent non-EU/EEA students; the page asks for the best 5 to 10 percent of your graduating class. It is not open to Dutch, EU/EEA or current UT students, and not for ITC programmes or the pre-master.

Eligibility

You need provisional or confirmed admission to a qualifying master’s programme, a student number and an English test (Academic IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90 per the page). A two-year programme can earn a second-year award if you keep a 7.0 average and earn half of your credits in time. As of October 2026 the application form is listed as open from 15 October 2026 to 1 April 2027 (16:00 CET) for a September 2027 start, with results in early May 2027.
